How Many Should You Expect On Your Live Training Sessions through Webinars

As you are conducting a webinar, you will most likely have people who will register for it in advanced, before you conduct your live training. The question is how many of those people will actually attend? Would you assume that all of the people that register will attend? Probably not, only about half of those who do register will most likely attend or maybe not even that.

You may notice, that when you start your webinar, that you will most likely have only about 32% of the people who register, will actually show up. From each webinar, that you do conduct this will probably be the same percentage of people that will generally show up to view your live broadcast. The attendance percentage can change, but you should prepare to have at least a third of the people view the live webinar.

What should you do on your webinar, and how long do you think your attendees will stay for? This is something that will ultimately depend on the person who is viewing your webinar.

People, will generally leave at anytime, as they will most likely have personal circumstances that will pop up that will force them to cut their viewing time short. You can expect people to leave at anytime during the webinar, however it shouldn't affect how you run and conduct it.

Many of your audience, will most likely leave during the transition part of the presentation, and wont stay for the pitch. They no before hand that they wont stay, and they will most likely watch out for the pitch at the end and leave during that time, as they do not plan on buying anything from you. Regardless if you are pitching them a product, they will generally leave when they think the webinar is winding down, as they believe that they have all the information they need, and don't need to hear your final thoughts.

So, expect about a third of the people that register to stay and watch your webinar. However, also realize that some will leave during the live event as well.
