{"id":46,"date":"2010-06-09T09:36:15","date_gmt":"2010-06-09T16:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.webinarcrusher.com\/blog\/how-can-i-get-others-to-promote-my-webinar"},"modified":"2010-06-02T15:13:00","modified_gmt":"2010-06-02T22:13:00","slug":"how-can-i-get-others-to-promote-my-webinar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.webinarcrusher.com\/blog\/how-can-i-get-others-to-promote-my-webinar\/","title":{"rendered":"How Can I Get Others To Promote My Webinar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You always want as many people as possible on a webinar.\u00a0 How are you going to do it?\u00a0 With traffic.\u00a0 And the easiest and best form of traffic is a joint venture.\u00a0 You get somebody else with a large following to promote the webinar for you.\u00a0 How are you going to convince them?\u00a0 Explain what\u2019s in it for them, whether it\u2019s an affiliate commission or a mutual promotion.<\/p>\n<p>It would be nice to think that everyone on the internet is just waiting for you to come along so they can give you extra exposure.\u00a0 But that\u2019s simply not true.\u00a0 People need to have a good reason to recommend you to other people.\u00a0 Maybe they are trying to get a favor from you or trying to build a relationship with you or just give their subscribers something of value.\u00a0 When you approach someone to promote for you, don\u2019t just ask them to do it.\u00a0 Explain it in terms of what they will get out of this promotion.<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite things to promise and the easiest for you is to offer an affiliate commission.\u00a0 If you present something to their list and you end with an offer, make sure that offer gives the promoter credit for at least 50% of the sale.\u00a0 That means if you\u2019re presenting something about time management and you\u2019re selling at the end a video course for $100, make sure that for each one of those sales, the promoter gets at least $50 out of that.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t make a lot of sales, then don\u2019t try to get invited back;
